Dr Adrian Kwok has delivered more than 7,000 babies and cared for countless patients with gynaecological concerns in a professional and reassuring manner that puts his patients at ease.

Happily married with three children in high school, Dr Kwok lives close to all three hospitals, ensuring timely after-hours assistance. He consults in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Dr Kwok was born in Sydney, and spent some of his early school years in Hong Kong before returning to Sydney for high school. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sydney with honours in 1991, and trained at Royal North Shore Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from 1994, completing his specialist medical training in 2000.

During his training, Dr Kwok spent a year working at Salisbury District Hospital in the United Kingdom, and completed a two-year Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship in Sydney. He has specialist qualifications from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as from the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

Dr Kwok is the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and the recent past Chairman of the Surgical Services Committee. He is also a board member of the fundraising organisation, Friends of the Mater.

He also teaches medical students at the Mater Hospital and supervises registrars in training at Royal North Shore Hospital.
